In Response to the Summer 96 Issue

Dear Aine:

I have just received the midsummer EarthSpirit, and I want to congratulate you and Moira for your thoughtful and courageous article and her brave and reconciling letter. Thank you both for speaking out so candidly. By doing so, I believe, you provide significant support to those who need to hear your words, and you strengthen the spirit of connection and mutuality within our community. It seems especially important that both of you offered sufficient details about what happens in destructive relationships and about resources that are available to help those who are affected. My thanks to the entire Arthen family for making EarthSpirit an interesting and significant vehicle of communication and community building.

I am pleased to enclose a small contribution to the Burning Relief Fund for inclusion in the donation from the EarthSpirit Community.
