EarthSpirit Invites You to Celebrate the Spirit of the Season!

Beltaine is the midpoint of Spring, when we gather together to reconnect after the Winter.

The Annual Clean Up and Maypole Circle will be held at:
Greenwood Park, Middlesex Fells, Stoneham/Medford, Massachusetts
Directly across from the Stone Zoo

We are returning to our new location this year with plenty of parking and across the street from the Stone Zoo.

We'll meet at 11 AM for the annual "spring cleaning". By cleaning up trash and removing the leaves from the new grass, we come together to do something to help the Earth. Magically we use it as a symbol to clean away our winter debris and reconnect with the sacred ground. Children are encouraged to attend. (Extra trash bags, gloves, and tools always help in removing any winter-accumulated trash and debris!)

Again this year, during the clean up, we intend to build a symbolic Winter Spirit with some of the debris we collect. So come early to be a part of this. We also have flower wreaths to make, bubbles to blow, and always encourage drumming and connecting.

After the clean up is complete, there will be a Maypole, followed by a potluck picnic and a Peace Cairn. Please bring your own utensils and something to share. And Come Celebrate Spring!

We'll pass a hat for small donations of $5-$10.

Directions

By Car:

From Rt. 93 south take exit 35 onto Rt. 28. Bear right through the
parking lot along Spot Pond, and turn right onto South St. which
becomes Pond St. Pass the Stone Zoo and at the next intersection make
a u-turn. Greenwood Park is on the right opposite the Stone Zoo.

From Rt. 93 north take exit 34. At the end of the exit ramp turn left,
go under Rt. 93 and turn right onto North Border Rd.
Go through the stop lights at Rt. 28, the road is now called South St. and turns
into Pond St. Pass the Stone Zoo and at the next intersection make a
u-turn. Greenwood Park is on the right opposite the Stone Zoo, 149 Pond Street, Stoneham, MA.

Then follow the ribbons or look for a familiar face cleaning nearby.

Public Transportation:

If people want to travel by Public Transportation, please contact us at moira@earthspirit.com. If there are interested people, we will do a pick up at Bus - 325 - Direction: Elm St. via I-93
Arrive Fellsway W @ Elm St between 11 and 11:30 AM.

Rain Date Note: If this date actually rains we will be thankful for the rain and reschedule this event to Sunday May 2nd.
Cloudy or threatening, on the other hand, will not cancel this event.
